How To Use This Product:
- Fill the provided dropper to 1.0 ML.
- Dab the dropper slowly and apply the solution directly onto the areas of the upper scalp that are experiencing hair loss, or that will become vulnerable to hair loss. Target the skin of the scalp, not your hair.
- If possible, repeat this process with another 1.0 ML later in the day (leaving at least 2 hours in between applications).
- Leave the topical solution in the scalp for a minimum of 2 hours before washing out (but it can be left in the scalp for as long as you like). You do not need to wash out the topical solution from a previous application before applying the next application – simply apply it over the existing application.
Hair Defense® Ingredient Profile
Finasteride 0.1%
Regrows hair and prevents hair loss by blocking Dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a factor in hair loss. Finasteride inhibits type 2 5-alpha reductase, which converts testosterone to DHT.
Dutasteride 0.04%
Regrows hair and prevents hair loss by blocking Dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a factor in hair loss. Dutasteride inhibits both type 1 and type 2 5-alpha reductase, both of which convert testosterone to DHT.
Minoxidil 6%
Increases the growth phase of hair follicles. Minoxidil is an FDA-approved topical ingredient for regrowing hair.
Retinoic Acid 0.0125%
Stimulates hair follicle cells.
Triamcinolone 0.0125%
Prevents itchiness, redness, and irritation.
Caffeine 0.01%
Stimulates hair follicles by increasing blood circulation to the scalp.
